Ragusa Xpress: A Ferry Service to Sicily & Malta

A user-centered approach, the goal was to design captivating branding and intuitive UI mobile screens for a yacht event host startup, enhancing the overall experience.

Project Description

Ragusa Xpress, a ferry company operating between Malta and Sicily, needed a new web and mobile UI for their booking flow. I joined the project from the start and was responsible for designing the entire interface from scratch, following the company’s style guides, colour schemes, and brand guidelines. The goal was to create a seamless, user-friendly booking experience.

Results

The new UI streamlined the booking process, making it faster and more intuitive, which resulted in high client satisfaction. The website is now nearly ready for launch, with the design successfully meeting all user experience goals.

The client was really impressed with how the desktop design turned out, so they requested a mobile version as well. Additionally, they wanted all designs to be available in both English and Italian to ensure accessibility for a wider audience since they're based in Italy. 🌍
