Junction: A Seamless Travel Booking App for Snowfall

With a focus on user experience, the goal was to design a seamless app that enables users to easily book hotels, flights, taxis, and a wide range of transportation services, simplifying the travel process

Project Description

Snowfall needed a mobile app to allow users to easily book taxis, with plans to expand to other transport modes like planes and coaches. I designed the entire mobile UI from scratch, focusing on a seamless and intuitive booking experience.

Results

The new UI simplifies the taxi booking process, providing a highly intuitive user experience. The app is currently in development, with positive feedback and a strong foundation for future transportation features.

I created a mood board to define the design direction for the transportation app, drawing inspiration from Dribbble, Mobbin, and existing apps like Uber and Bolt. The board showcased key elements such as colour schemes, typography, and layout styles, helping visualize the app's look and feel. 🚗

I also created a mood board to explore design inspiration for the settings page, pulling ideas from Dribbble and other app designs. The board highlighted key elements like layout, color schemes, and typography to help define the look and functionality of the page. ⚙️

Personal Thoughts

While the design has received positive feedback, I believe there’s room for improvement, particularly with the settings pages. Expanding features like adding multiple users to one account and adopting a more modern design style to align with the car booking flow would enhance the overall user experience. That said, the designs are still in their early stages, and many new features and updates are planned for the future, which could address these points.⚙️
